main task:un-manipulated photos

ive decided to use this picture for my front cover of my music magazine

I'm not using this photo because parts of her head is out of the picture and most of her right arm is out of the picture and in this picture I think that she need to move more to the right so that I could get a better picture of her or could have move the carama so that i could get a full shot of her. Plus there were much more better pictures that i took for my double page spread.
I've choose to use this picture for my front covers because I w
as able to get this girl into the whole picture and because this was the best picture out of all of the front cover picture that i took.

I've decided to use this picture as my contents page because it a good picture and because I was able to get both of them into the picture and both of their heads and out of most of the photos that i had took for my content this was the best picture.

I'm using this picture because this picture is very good and all of the modal body is in the picture and her hair isn't sticking out of the picture and she is in the right position when I took this picture.

I decided not to use this picture because the girl on the left head is not fully in the picture and I wanted to include the whole person from her head and her body downwards so I think could have zoomed out so that i could get her whole head into the picture.

I haven't choosen this picture because half of her right arm in the picture and the other half of her is out of the picture plus i wanted to get her whole body into the picture including her arms and because not look straight at the camara.

Denotation

In this picture of a guy standing up and he is looking very confident because of the way he is standing - straight, pushing his chest out and the way he's holding the champaigne for example, one finger pointing down isnt usually how people hold champaigne - he's different. He also looks like very rich just by looking at what kind of clothes he is wearing. He is wearing a black suit with nice black shoes and a ring that looks very exspensive in one hand. He is holding a wine bottle and in the other hand is holding a glass cup with wine in it. Behind him there is only lots of balloons with a white background and the light is very bright. This makes it look as if he is having a party. As he is dressed smartly and the background and props are related to a party, it suggests that he's having a party because he is wealthy. When a lot of people read this they will think that that's where they want to be so they look at Rick Ross and see him as a role model because the image leads you to conclude that he is very successful.

This targets young people and old people so it's for people that are around the age of 16 - 35 because these are the kind of people that will listen to Rick Ross music also because people from these ages will listen to R and B. This magazine doesn't have much colour, the only colours are black and like white and the photo takes up one half of the page and the other side it is full with writing and the whole of the text is in black plus the masthead has been put on to the magazine twice and the other one is upside down. The way that he is posing is to show that he is the man that make all the money also this picture seem to show that he thinks that he is to hot and he is not looking straight into the camera and in this picture we can see the whole of Rick Ross's body.

Connotation: we see a picture of a black guy in a suit and he is holding a glass and a bottle in the other hand, behind him are lots of balloons behind him.

The suit that he is wearing seems to show that he is making a lot of money out of the music industry this shows that this kind of genre makes a lot of money and everything that is on him doesn't look cheap so the glasses, glass, suit, bottle of wine and shoes all look very expensive.

main task;introduction

My name is Eni Aroyewun and I'm studying As media at Christ The King Sixth Form College. I will be making a music magazine and I will be focusing on the front cover, contents page and the double page spread. The music genres I will be focusing on are R and B and grime and this magazine will be targeted to the young people. I will also be researching other music magazines to help me get a good idea how my music magazine is going to look. I have picked this kind of music because my target audience is youth and because I have a good understanding of R and B and grime.
